APT a.k.a. Apartment Korean Horror Movie review


A.P.T. Korean movie was released in South Korea on July 6, 2006 and is written and directed by Ahn Byeong-ki and starring Ko So-young, Kang Seong-jin, Jang Hee-jin, Park Ha-seon and Yoo Min.

A.P.T. revolves around the life of Se-jin, who is a workaholic and is basically alone. After moving into a high-rise apartment building she noticed that the lights on the other side of the apartment started to flicker at exactly 9:56 pm. She thought it was just a coincidence and went on to work, but the following day somebody was found dead. She went to work one night and after working she decided to take the train and while walking towards the station she noticed someone was following her and while she’s standing on the station waiting for her train to come a lady appear out of nowhere and sat on one of the benches and when she turned to look at her the lady was crying and the next thing she knew the lady was already standing beside her and asking her if she’s not tired of being alone and then all of a sudden to her surprise as the train was approaching the lady suddenly grab her in an effort to bring her to commit a suicide along with her. The following day while she was about to leave for work the lights started to flicker again at exactly 9:56 pm and after the lights flicker she saw a lady who came out of the window and leaped to her death. After the incident she didn’t go to work anymore and instead she decided to investigate the bizarre things that’s going on and why the ghost of the lady at the train station is haunting her.
